Not Your Usual Sandwich

We love sandwiches at our house for lunch but turkey on bread gets old right quick! I like to make our favorite sandwiches in new ways and this one became a quick favorite! My go to lunch is usually a croissant, turkey, lettuce and a mayo that covers every part of the croissant and a super cold Dr. Pepper but I needed a change! My mother-in-law got me hooked on skinny bagels for everything. hamburgers, sandwiches, toasted with your favorite cream cheese and Adie loves them just plain! Eric doesn't like mayonnaise, miracle whip, mustard or any condiment on anything! Weird, right!?! So I made the easiest and yummiest sauce to add to your sandwiches or even hamburgers that will make you take bite after bite and want more!

Not Your Usual Sandwich

1/3 sliced avocado
iceberg lettuce
2 ounces oven-roasted deli turkey (sun dried tomato is my favorite)
pepper-jack cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup pico de gallo
skinny bagel
salt and freshly-ground pepper

In a small bowl, mix together the sour cream and pico de gallo. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Spread 1/2 the mixture on each bagel slice. Arrange avocado, lettuce, turkey and pepper-jack cheese on bagel slice. Close sandwich.
Hold together with sandwich pick and enjoy!
