Favorite Summer Treats

Summer is in five weeks, one day, twelve hours, thirty-seven minutes and sixteen seconds and I couldn't be more thrilled! Summer is about those tan lines, the smell of sunscreen, favorite snacks and memories that don't fade! Having a newborn this summer I am all about making things a little more simple and still fun for my Adie babes! I gathered up a few favorite summer treats that I just know not only she will love but the entire family will! I am so in love with making your own popsicles and you can make them super healthy and your little ones won't even know. Keep a few of these in the freezer and summer will be cool enough to stay poolside all day long. Which is totally my plan when little brother is sleeping and hopefully Adie still naps.

mini frozen yogurt pops | women's day                               cookies and cream ice cream | love from the oven

ice cream sandwiches | the nest                             strawberry banana popsicles | sally's baking addiction

breakfast popsicles | caramel potatoes                      strawberry cheesecake yogurt pops | a kitchen addiction

These popsicles look so simple to make and are super healthy and the recipes are endless! I love adding the coconut water with fruit together for a refreshing afternoon cool down. And who wouldn't want to grab one first thing in the morning filled with yogurt and a little granola!?! Healthy in a fun summer way and I cannot wait for Adie to get on the popsicle trend! She is all about lolly-pops right now so these will be a great alternative that is healthy and she can eat them all day long. Making your own ice-cream sandwiches seems so simple and the perfect after any BBQ dessert! I am so ready for treats and spending time together as a family of four! Strawberries are a lot more popular now that I actually tried them a few weeks ago so I love these strawberry recipes that will be perfect for all the strawberries we'll be picking from the garden.

pineapple boat with sorbet | the house that lars built                  strawberry-ricotta popsicles | my baking addiction

Watermelon is one of Eric's all time favorite things to eat during the summer so those popsicles look perfect for him and with the added strawberry I just might have to try them too! Everything will be just so refreshing after spending all day in the pool or at the park and before nap-time that I can hardly wait. The pineapple boat with sorbet is the best idea ever for a BBQ or outdoor summer party you'll be hosting! Love the idea and it will make your party look just like summer and everyone will love it, promise!

I gathered a few summer accessories to make these summer treats a reality and we've already added a few to our online shopping cart since it's raining again today and chasing Adie at thirty-eight weeks through the stores seems so exhausting. Who doesn't need an ice-cream maker and my new favorite bowls [number two] from Anthropologie are the perfect ice-cream bowls! I love the popsicle style happening everywhere! Number seven will be perfect for your little babies and bring summer indoors with that awesome popsicle towel!

Cheers to the weekend and summer treats! #TGIF
