Vintage Minnie Mouse Celebration

Happy 1st Birthday to our Miss Adeline!
the to die for birthday hat: Adie's Corner ... more about it just around the "corner".

Adie over the past year has grown so much! She has developed her sassy, fun, independent, carefree, adventurous self through just being herself. She just makes me smile which usually leads to a laugh with her cuteness. I couldn't imagine having any other party than a Minnie Mouse Birthday Party! I wanted it to be super girly so we gave our Minnie Mouse party a vintage feel. It seriously turned out adorable. I am so in love with this sweet girl! She absolutely loves her Birthday gift from Daddy and Mommy. I found this fun beach chair and umbrella at Pottery Barn Kids and even better on sale and PINK! She loves it so much, she climbs in and out of it for hours! Hours I have plenty of  to watch her master the art of fun! Hope you get inspired to create and hope you've added a little OH MY CUTE to your day!

I almost can't wait for her to turn TWO! | but I can ...

Instead of cake for everyone, we decided to do PINK CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES & ICE CREAM! YUM with a side of delish! You'll seriously ask yourself HOW on earth a cookie this good can start from a box. This was seriously so much easier than cutting and plates and more napkins and asking who wants ... Loved this recipe from Sally's Baking Addition for PINK cookies.

I wanted PINK to be EVERYWHERE and I think it worked! It is mid-HOT-summer so I wanted Adie's guests to just be able to snack and enjoy the summer. We made PINK POPCORN which was a huge hit. All we did was melt pink chocolate that we found here and drizzled it over freshly popped popcorn and hand tossed it to hit every pop!

Pink Lemonade of course: mason jars you can get anywhere, I got these at GyGi's.
The cutest lids and straws ever: Sweet LuLu
I just love my little family to death!
Adie just loves her Minnie car from Papa and Grandma Az
I seriously went looking everywhere for a birthday outfit for this girl and came up empty handed; which usually NEVER happens. I always talk about being a professional shopper! That movie ... Confessions of a Shopaholic ... I can relate TOTALLY! The mannequins seriously talk to you!
I didn't find any Minnie Mouse for this birthday girl so I made it myself. So super easy. All I did was cut three felt circles, made them look like Minnie and tied different ribbons together and hot glued it all together and even on her onesie! So simple yet ADORABLE as ever!

The sweetest ONE year old I know!

There is always more just around the "corner" ...
